“My experiences of working with Lia @Marybow are a little different than the other reviews you may find written here, in that I was unable to secure a tenancy through Marybow. The fact that I am taking the time to write a review about a company that that didn’t find me a property, probably tells you more than anything you will read below.
When you think about estate agents, you tend to think of how difficult they can be to work with and how they are not-so-subtly serving their own agenda rather than focussing on helping you. Working with Lia was the opposite. She was diligent and personable at every turn, and cared about whether or not I was the right tenant for the property and for the landlord, as opposed to seeing me as a means to an end.
Often when dealing with agencies, you feel that they are trying to sell to you. They talk up the property and the area, and you become brutally aware that they are spending just enough time talking to you, to see if you will fill the spot; if not they’ll move on to the next person. Such as the nature of the beast when dealing with a property market that moves as quickly as London’s.
I didn’t have this feeling once while working with Lia, she took the time to understand who I was, what was important to me, and even why these things were important. All of which are huge factors when choosing a home. A house & area can only be a home if they answer the above problems.
